Exceptional set of 14 earthenware dinner plates from Creil and Montereau, Silhouettes model, late 19th century. Characteristic of the productions of this period oriented around naturalist themes. In polychrome and natural earthenware (grisaille effects), each piece presents animals in grisaille in a silhouette reproduced in polychromy. The wings are polylobed, border and verdigris floral decoration on the marli. 10 different decorations. Dimensions: Plates: Diameter: 25.5 cm. Beautiful condition of the set. A dessert service of the same model is for sale in another advertisement. An incredible model due to its colors and the diversity of the decorations!!! Rare to find so many pieces in this condition.
