"Jonques et Sampans" this beautiful square from Maison Hermès, illustrated by Françoise de la Perrière and published in 1966, reissued in 1991 and 1999 is a rare model and sought after by amateurs, collectors and interior designers. In silk twill with hand-rolled edges, it comes on a brown/blue background with black borders. The subject is framed by a gold frieze on a navy blue background, which takes us aboard junks and sampans on the Gulf of Tonkin, in a range of gold, brown/blue, light blue, deep blue, yellow, taupe colors... The title of this composition and the copyright are centered at the bottom. The name of the house Hermès Paris appears at the bottom right.
