Very beautiful chest from the very beginning of the 18th century (1700) in oak, probably a wedding chest, names carved at the top left: Hinrich Ehlers, work from northern Europe, probably German, good general condition, small lack on the right corner at the bottom of the molding, top appears to be later and missing lock, very beautiful work of marquetry in light and black wood, handles on the sides in original iron, interesting dimensions
