18th Century Delft Earthenware Plate
Very beautiful deep plate in Delft earthenware, which was to receive a strawberry "colander" (unfortunately lost). Nevertheless, our plate has a pretty outline of a lively shape in relief, the whole is decorated with flowers and foliage in shades of blue and white. Bears the mark of the Hache de Porcelaine, J. brouwer 1759-1764. Good general condition, some chips on the edge. Period around 1760.
