Christofle, 1860-1890, Silver-plated Bronze Centerpiece , Louis XV Style Jardiniere
Sumptuous jardiniere in a flamboyant and rich Louis XV style by Christofle in Paris. Dating from the second half of the nineteenth century, it is nevertheless in good condition. The very heavy frame and its silverplated interior bear both the Christofle hallmark and a model or workshop number as was the custom in the nineteenth century. Magnificent centerpiece for the great festive moments of each year.
