Jean Baptiste Valadié was born in Brive la Gaillarde, (Corrèze) in 1933. Graduated from the School of Applied Arts, Paris, 1955 In 1956 first exhibition Dakar Cultural Center Participates in National exhibitions: in Paris: at the Salon d'Automne, at the Salons of painters who are witnesses of their time, at the Comparison salon, at the Drawings and Watercolour salon. Distinctions: Silver Medal of Arts, Sciences and Letters, Medal of the City of Brussels, Knight of Merit Hispano Belgian. In the United States, honorary citizen of: Daytona Beach, Kenner, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, Huntsville, Atlanta, New Orleans, Washington DC.
