Large painting representing a countryside landscape. Very beautiful play of shadows and light in autumnal colors. It was made by the painter Jean Louis Schillinger and bears his signature at the bottom left. This artist specialized in landscapes. This painting is sold with a beautiful cream-colored lacquered frame, it is richly worked and decorated with an openwork shell motif at the four corners and in the middle of each baguette.
