Cartel and its wall console in Boulle marquetry of engraved brass on a red tortoiseshell background, beautiful ornamentation of chiseled bronzes with foliage decorations, draped woman and warrior at the top, dial with 24 enameled cartouches. Stamped varnish, movement striking the quarters with its original pendulum to be revised. Stamped A DUBOIS, Louis XV period. Height of the cartel 67.5 cm, height of the console 26 cm. DUBOIS Adrien master in 1741, specialized in watchmaking, he produced high quality clock and pendulum cases, often using Boulle marquetry.
