Very beautiful Tachi of carved bone decoration from the Meiji period (1868-1912)
Selling price (Excluding shipping costs).

This Tachi dates from the end of the 19th/beginning of the 20th century, the blade is not signed and is not forged.

Its Koshirae is finely carved with patterns representing characters in traditional Japanese clothes.

It comes with a Bukuro (traditional brocade cover).

BLADE CHARACTERISTICS:

Mumei (Unsigned)
Period: End of the 19th/Beginning of the 20th century
Nagasa: 46cm Sori: Height: 1.2cm
Sugata type: In the style of Unokubi-zukuri blades
Throats: No-hi (without throat)
Condition: Very good general condition of the sword.
Defects: Some cracks

KOSHIRAE:

Total length: 81cm
Tsuka: Length: 22.7 cm
Tsuba: In carved bone The Saya is equipped with a Himo (cord) in Japanese silk and braided in the Tachi style.
