Pair Of Important Gilded Bronze Frames From The Napoleon III Period
Large pair of gilded bronze frames. They have a pediment surmounted by the imperial eagle sitting on two olive branches tied with a ribbon. The contours are chiseled with acanthus leaves. They have a bronze marie-louise in the image of a fabric applied with empire attributes and laurel leaves. The back is also in bronze and holds a foot to place them and a ring to hang them. The gilding is original. they measure 36 cm X 22.5 cm Photo dimensions: 15 cm X 22.5 cm Napoleon III period
