Imposing glazed stoneware wall sculpture, brutalist / abstract style, circa 1980. Unique piece made by the architectural ceramicist Jean-Michel Savary in the Beauvais region of France. Very good condition. The ceramics of Beauvais in the Oise (Beauvaisi stoneware) are represented by famous artists and potters such as Auguste Delaherche, Charles Greber or Pierre Pissareff whose vases and sculptures can be seen at the Oise Museum.
