"Pair Of Biedermeier Style Bedside Cabinets"
Pair of Biedermeier Style Bedside Cabinets Superb pair of elegant and refined Biedermeier style bedside cabinets, made towards the beginning of the 20th century, circa 1950. These cabinets rest on four legs, including two front legs finely carved in the shape of a stylized swan neck, with a black and dark gold patina. They open with a domed door on the front, framed by two small pilasters decorated with a finely carved and gilded acanthus leaf at their top. A practical drawer completes the set, providing additional storage space. The solid wood and walnut veneer bring a warm and distinguished touch, typical of this style. Condition: sold as is, with some signs of use. A good polish would be recommended to revive the natural patina and enhance these beautiful little pieces of furniture. These bedside cabinets can also be used in a living room to highlight a pair of lamps, or in an entrance hall for an elegant and timeless style. A rare piece that I highly recommend.
