Silver hand candlestick, very lively rocaille model, the Binet with swelling, the thumb rest grip, by the master goldsmith Henri Allain, Paris 1752-1753. Henri Allain was received as a master goldsmith on October 5, 1745. Weight 136g Condition, good, traces of use. It is well hallmarked, under the base, in the binet and on the grip. The grip is numbered CM. A small silver reinforcement in the winding of the thumb rest.
