Gadget cane with a fan hidden in the handle. The upper part of the handle is unfolded, revealing a small pull tab that allows a paper fan to be deployed. The bottom of the handle is made of bone. The shaft is made of bamboo. The ferrule is made of metal. A crack on the bone part of the handle as well as on the bottom of the handle, but the system works and the fan is in good condition. The entire cane measures 35,04 inches (folded fan). A similar model is presented in Catherine Dike's reference work "System Canes", illustration 17/39. France, circa 1900.
