Manufacturing time: between 6 and 14 months A matrix is created; we take an imprint of it to obtain its negative mold. The mold is placed under the water of the Petrifying Fountain. The calcite crystals fill the mold. The craftsman's know-how is exercised through the daily handling of the molds. It creates a cohesion and perfect homogeneity of the limestone crystals between them. Then, we proceed to unmold the piece. Limestone objects will never be retouched or polished. This technique allows for very fine details.
