Exceptional Louis XIV period chair decorated with scrolls and shells on a checkered background. Curved front crosspiece decorated with a count's crown surmounting a coat of arms with two inverted fish. The whole resting on four crow's feet, connected by an X-shaped spacer. Natural wood. Upholsterer to be restored. Languedoc, late 17th, early 18th century.
