French oil painting signed and dated 1947 French painter and lithographer, born October 5, 1809 in Paris and died in the same city in January 1880. Entered the Ecole des Beaux Arts in 1829, he was the student of professors HEISENT and Abel de PUJOL. He debuted at the Salon in 1833 and obtained the 3rd degree medal in 1837.
