Very nice painting from the 18th century, oil on canvas, representing a scene of peasant life. It is a copy of a painting by Jean Simeon Chardin, "the provider" executed in 1738. The work that I offer you dates from the same period, very well painted it restores all the atmosphere of Chardin's scenes, with the importance given to the many details that contribute to situating the place in which the scene takes place. The workmanship of this painting is of quality and gives it a lot of charm. It has been restored but is back on its original canvas.
