Nubian torch holder in painted wood. It is on its original base. Its head is topped with a colorful turban. Its loincloth, with geometric decoration, is topped with a short-sleeved jacket with green decoration on a gold background. It wears a gold-colored bracelet on its forearm. It is surrounded by a turban with the same decoration as that of its head, which falls to one side. Its left arm is raised and it carries a flame-shaped glass that lights with a push button on the foot. The lighting system has been completely redone. Period: first half of the 19th century.
