Important hunting bronze group in patinated bronze representing the huntsman at the relay.
Signed on the terrace HP Moreau Lecourtier for Hippolyte Moreau (1832 - 1927) and Prosper Lecourtier (1855 - 1924).
Engraved on the plate "PIQUEUR AU RELAIS" and "SALON des BEAUX ARTS", bearing the foundry stamp.
Height = 80 centimeters !
This model is the result of a collaboration between the animal sculptor Prosper Lecourtier, who made the dogs and Hippolyte Moreau, author of the figure of the huntsman.
19th century ; very beautiful edition.
