Beautiful pair of Scottish pistols with a chest and double barrels with flintlock in a book case, early 19th century period - Pistols with a chest in engraved steel continuing towards the rear with a round handle of square section attached to the chest. Double trigger under trigger guard. Round barrels with forced ball and rifled interior all in steel. Muzzle diameter of the barrels 10 mm. Chest decorated with a net and under the trigger guard with a rosette. Safety at the rear of the swan neck hammers with a slightly volute crest. Mechanisms in working order. Hallmark on the left side of the chest, "ELG starred in an oval" LIEGE hallmark from 1811 to 1893.
