Mithé Espelt
Wall mirror in the shape of a flower – Model “Anémone” – France, circa 1960
Charming small wall mirror in stamped and glazed earthenware, designed by the French ceramist Mithé Espelt in the 1960s.
This piece, made entirely of glazed ceramic, takes the shape of a stylised flower: the petals, stem, and leaves are carefully modelled and covered in warm-toned glaze.
Only the center of the flower features a small oval mirror.
On the back, the original green felt, typical of Mithé Espelt’s creations, is still present – subtly marking her signature.
Condition: very good, with light signs of age
Dimensions: width 31 cm – height 34.5 cm
