Solid silver cup (195 gr.) of oval shape resting on a molded pedestal, the body with "pinched ribs", the lip underlined with a net, the interior gilded with fine gold.

Very good condition, the only model designed on the market, significant weight sign of quality production.
This cup is a rare example of the "historical" goldsmith production of the house of Dior. It is inspired by a model from Strasbourg, 18th century period. Equivalent models can be found among the great goldsmiths of the period such as Johann Heinrich I OERTEL[1], Jean-Jacques EHRLEN[2] or Johann Friedrich SENCKEYSEN[3].
