Large Scale French Painted Housekeeper's Cupboard

This is a fabulous, large-scale French 20th-century painted housekeeper's cupboard of architectural form in a lovely light blue paint finish. This large painted solid mahogany cupboard splits into two sections. It features a shaped molded cornice above two large paneled cupboard doors, enclosing adjustable shelves, with reeded column supports on either side. The lower part of this wonderful quality housekeeper's cupboard has a pair of drawers above a pair of paneled doors, enclosing adjustable shelves, with reeded column supports on either side. It is raised on a shaped molded plinth. The interior is painted in a lovely chalky white color and offers an assortment of adjustable shelves. This cupboard provides excellent storage because it splits into two halves. It is also a well-proportioned cupboard. This grand piece is in very good, clean, tidy condition throughout. A superb piece of French painted furniture that would look splendid in a large kitchen, pantry, or hallway. A very useful piece that provides a large amount of storage.
