Rare cabinet furniture opening with a mahogany cupboard resting on claw feet, set back on the top a cabinet furnished with a mercury mirror hiding shelves and small secretary drawers. It is topped with a gray Sainte Anne marble. Hidden in the belt is a writing drawer furnished with green leather. Beautiful decoration of chiseled and mercury-gilded bonzes. Parisian work from the beginning of the Empire period, around 1805. Beautiful original piece of furniture, which stands out by its originality from classic Empire furniture (secretary, chest of drawers), the speckled mahogany veneer is beautiful, as are the bronzes. The mercury glass sparkling over the entire surface is superb. This piece of furniture can be used for several purposes, such as displaying collectibles or simply as an original secretary.
