Jens Harald Quistgaard (1919-2008) for Dansk Designs "IHQ 810" ice bucket, also known as "Congo," in solid teak, designed around 1954. The largest model in the series. Manufacturer's mark under the base. This utensil has become an icon of Scandinavian design; an example is in the collection of the MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) in New York.
