16th Century Walnut Cabinet
Exceptional 16th century walnut cabinet... Carved on all sides, it opens with a flap revealing ten drawers on either side of the tabernacle door... When you open the tabernacle door, there are five secret drawers, three on the front and two very well hidden on the sides inside the niche... The quality of the carving and the assembly are exceptional...! Photos are one thing, seeing it in person is another... It is entirely original and in its original condition... It is simply missing its keyhole, but I can provide one from the same period... France (Burgundy...?), 16th century circa 1560 / 1580
