Stamped "Etienne Doirat", cabinetmaker born in Paris in 1675 and died in Paris in 1732.
Etienne Doirat was one of the few great cabinetmakers of the Regency to use the stamp.
He came from a family of craftsmen who had been working for over a century in the Faubourg "Saint-Antoine".
He also worked all his life in the Faubourg, for a wealthy French and foreign clientele.
