Baltazard-martino-paris Religious Pendulum
CLOCK called RELIGIOUS in copper and pewter marquetry on a red tortoiseshell background. It is flanked by columns. The dial indicates the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in Arabic numerals, on a dark blue velvet background (added). The whole highlighted by a gilded bronze console with flower motifs and bearing the inscription Balthazar Martinot in Paris. Ogee pediment, highlighted with fire pots. Early 18th century. Height: 58 - Length: 33 - Depth: 14cm.
