Napoleon III Period Pedestal Table.
Beautiful Napoleon III period pedestal table, in mahogany veneer and black lacquered mahogany. The circular, bowl-shaped top is bordered by a gilded bronze garland. It receives, in its center, a pink enameled earthenware dish, decorated with a painted decoration of a young woman collecting roses in the folds of her skirt. It rests on four long arched legs, meeting halfway and fixed on a base with 'skates', in a four-branched cross. On the entire pedestal table, important gilded bronze decoration: 'falls', medallions, baguettes, rosettes and 'spinning top'. Quality furniture in good original condition.
