Paul Hagemans (Antwerp, 1884 - 1959)
Belgian painter, designer and engraver. Son of Maurice Hagemans. Studied at the Brussels Academy with Isidore Verheyen and Herman Richir (1899 - 1906). Author of portraits, figures, genre scenes, views of cities and villages, landscapes, historical and religious subjects. Works in a generous paste and in a luminist palette. Also active as an author of murals, theater sets and cartoons for stained glass windows.
