Large Art Deco extendable dining table by Gaston Poisson, France, circa 1935.
High gloss black piano lacquer on solid mahogany wood. Polished stainless steel trim all around the top. Chrome caps on the ends of the cylindrical intermediate bars of the base. Fluting on the outside of the legs and on the edge of the top. Extendable side extension mechanism and two insert trays, each 47 cm long. The table can be extended to a length of 257 cm.
