Art Deco period inkwell (1910-1940) Red griotte marble, finely decorated glass inkwell with two compartments and its lid. 4 notches to hold two pens. 4 small gilded bronze feet. Red griotte marble (name of the cherry) was the marble of choice for the royal apartments under Louis XIV, Louis XV and Louis XVI.
