A superbly executed very large oil on canvas painting by Eleanor Barbara Shiffner. This is titled Westling On Horse Back. This is a statement piece and looks amazing hung. Eleanor Barbara Georgina Shiffner was born on 8 Mar 1896 in Doncaster, Yorkshire. Best known for her rural and hunting scenes of the early to mid 20th centuary including the war years, she was educated and displayed at The Royal Academy, and was a Silver and Bronze winning Landseer Scholar.
