Napoleon III period bookcase in the Louis XVI style composed of three open shelving units. The very architectural facade is composed of two large flat uprights topped with shells. The molding carved with gilded interlacing frames the facade. The cornice follows the contour of the piece of furniture, the moldings are in stripes of oves and water leaves. On both sides, niches accommodate shelves, the structure is a frame with flat moldings where a large red painted fillet gives relief always in the architectural spirit. The piece of furniture is completely dismountable. Three other shelves on the front are available and four other shelves for the sides are supplied with the furniture.
