Exceptional set. Champagne Pommery is a Champagne house located in Reims in France and founded in 1836. Pommery is one of the great champagne houses that owe their existence and success to a widow (like Veuve Clicquot champagne). The company went public in 1968 and escaped a takeover by Moët & Chandon before passing into the hands of Xavier Gardinier, the BSN group and the LVMH group (LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE, a French luxury house), among others, who acquired it in 1991.
