Francois-Antoine-Léon Fleury, painter, born in Paris on December 18 1804, died in October 1858. On March 8, 1821, he entered the School of Fine Arts and was taught by Bertin and Hersent. He was a third class medalist in 1834, second class in 1837 and first class in 1845.
