Louis XVI style solid silver ewer from the 18th century.
Silversmith hallmark: Antoine BOULLIER, received Master in Paris in 1775.
PARIS, hallmarks of Charge [A / LL] and Export [ewer] for 1782-1789 and of Jurande for 1783 [U]. Re-stamped with Crab.

Weight: 1,143 g
Normal wear and tear. Wear to the engraved garland on the collar; scratches and shocks from use; nose of the lid slightly distorted, no longer covering the spout.

Our ewer has an export mark proving its departure from France, between 1782 and 1789, probably following its manufacture. Unfortunately, the absence of an import mark from the country of destination or a coat of arms prevents us from knowing its final destination. On its return to France it was given the Crab hallmark, therefore after 1838.
