Small slightly curved Regency period chest of drawers in amaranth veneer. It opens with three drawers on the front and rests on four arched legs. Beautiful chiseled bronze trim and original gilding. Etienne Doirat (1675-1732) - cabinetmaker. One of the few great Regency cabinetmakers to use a stamp. These pieces of furniture are frequently made of amaranth or violet wood, veneered in sheets or inlaid with grids.
