Old Double Row Cultured Pearl Necklace

Necklace made up of a double row of falling pearly creamy white round oriental cultured pearls. The most important pearls are located at the clasp. The clasp is in yellow gold. It is barrel-shaped, ratcheted with safety and set on its top with old-cut diamonds.
Necklace re-threaded on new silk thread.

Diameter of the pearls: from approximately 3/3.5 mm to approximately 7.5/8 mm.

Our opinion: This old necklace is made up of old cultured pearls, which are among the first cultured pearls to appear on the market at the beginning of the 20th century. They are therefore of very high quality and have stood the test of time without damage. This necklace can be worn around the neck with a clasp on the front or with a clasp on the back of the neck.
