Art Deco Ruby And Diamond Ring

A typical Art Deco ring featuring a flat, rounded setting adorned with rose-cut diamonds and calibrated rubies, all within an openwork fan-like motif.
At the center, an oval ruby is set in a bezel setting.
On either side of the ruby head, the band is crafted from converging gold wires and a shield-shaped motif set with a small rose-cut diamond.

Period: 20th century.
Main material: 18k yellow gold (750/1000), hallmarked with an eagle's head and an owl, and platinum, hallmarked with a mascaron.
Total weight of the central ruby: approximately 1.57 carats.
Proportions: Height: approximately 18.7 mm, width: approximately 10.7 mm, thickness: approximately 6.3 mm, band width at the base: approximately 1.2 mm.
Net weight: approximately 4 g. Authentic antique jewelry - French work from the 1920s.
