A painter, engraver and ceramist born in the province of Alessandria, he began his artistic career during the Fascist era, more precisely he was present in 1939 and the following year at the Exhibition of the Interprovincial Fascist Syndicate of Fine Arts in Turin. After the war ended, he participated in a number of exhibitions such as the Quadriennale d'Arte Nazionale at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome.
