"Pair Of Pyramidal Reliquaries – Vienna – Early 19th Century"
The first display honors, diorama style, the hand of Saint Anne. In the middle of a rich montage of silver wires, pearls and beads of different colors, there is in fact a representation in wax, painted black, of the relic of the mummified hand of our Holy Woman. The second monstrance responds with a wooden reproduction of a Saint Clou also decorated with a montage of canetilles and silver mesh.
Our monstrances are made of marbled and gilded wood, stretched bubble glass.
Dimensions of 54 cm high by 22 cm wide and 9 cm deep.
An Austrian work from the end of the 18th or beginning of the 19th century.
