Exceptional Pair Of Old Luxury Store Display Cases. V. Haas Nancy.

Exceptional pair of bronze display cases from the art nouveau period, circa 1900. Nancy School.
They are both signed by V. Haas in Nancy.
We know little about this manufacturer, but this is not the first time that we have encountered furniture or store decoration accessories signed by him, always of excellent quality, superior even to the productions of the Siégel house which is his contemporary. Especially the creative aspect, here very inspired by the art nouveau period.
The four-legged base in solid bronze could have been signed Hector Guimard, Eugène Vallin, Louis Majorelle, it is very probably design by Jules Cayette.
Description of the display cases: Display cases in bronze and glass from the art nouveau period, circa 1900. The central foot formed by a tubular axis decorated with four scrolled consoles supporting the display part and resting on four scrolled feet joined by a plant motif. The upper part surrounded by a 12 cm high brass band contains 24 compartments lined with red and navy blue velvet fabrics separated by cut glass.
Finally, the whole thing is closed by a circular glass surrounded by brass and pierced with two ovals allowing the objects exhibited inside the window to be grasped.
The circular plate placed on a ball bearing turns thanks to a large central bronze button on which appears the manufacturer's signature: “V. Haas Nancy, patented SGDG”.
These display cases were intended for a luxury store displaying art objects, jewelry, watches, precious bottles, collectibles.
Extremely rare showcase.
Owning a pair is truly exceptional.
