By Gabriel Viardot (1830-1904), famous Parisian cabinetmaker specializing in the production of "Chinese-Japanese style" furniture. He distinguished himself and received several medals at the Universal Exhibitions of 1867, 1878, 1889 and 1900.
In very good condition, restored : wood cleaned, treated against xylophages and waxed.
