French Brutalist Mid-century Black Iron Chain Floor Lamp White Silk Shade 1960s
Artist: Lampadaire Brutalist Mid-century Black Iron Chain White Silk Shade 1960s.
French Brutalist Mid-Century Black Iron Chain Floor Lamp White Silk Shade 1960s.
The lamp is a real eye-catcher.
The chain links are forged together lengthwise to form the long lamp base, which runs out on 3 sweeping legs that tilt upwards at the end.
The last chain link at the end of the base stands crosswise and forms the end.
The new bone-colored wild silk shade is slightly conical and has a beige lining on the inside so that the light also passes through the shade and does not just come out at the top.
There is a lid, which can of course also be removed.
The lamp has been completely re-electrified with 2 sockets.
The object is light-footed and slightly rustic at the same time, the coarse structure of the silk fits perfectly with the slightly grainy, matt surface of the iron chain links.
The 3-legged base gives the object a slightly eccentric touch.
