Lovely old medal representing an angel. It is in 18-carat yellow gold, finely chiseled and with a beautiful relief. Very good quality work with a satin finish. The reverse of the medal is polished, free of any inscription. It is the work of the famous French sculptor Emile Adolphe Monier, listed in Bénézit. Signed Monier at the bottom right. Eagle head hallmark on the ring, clearly visible. Dimensions: Height: 2.7 cm including bail Diameter: 1.9 cm excluding ring, excluding bail. Thickness: 2 mm maximum Weight: 4.52 grams Its weight and thickness allow you to have it engraved without any risk to its solidity. Very good condition otherwise perfect.
