Gothic oak chest featuring tracery decoration on the front and linen-fold carving on the sides. It originates from the outbuildings of a medieval château in the Loire Valley region. Condition: This chest has undergone numerous routine restorations, as is common for pieces of this period. The lid is partly original; a central plank and the two side cross-pieces have been added. Dimensions: Length: 165 cm; Depth: 61 cm; Height: 75.5 cm.
