Object made by the Newfoundland, also sometimes called work of patience, in this case seamanship in the lower part, this type of object was made on board boats to be offered to the wife, the latter given to their bride sealed a pledge of loyalty, thus proving a permanent thought during the long months of absence and during the making of the Faubert.
