Two Lids From A 17th Century Beer Barrel

Two rare oak beer barrel lids from the 17th century. The barrel was probably installed in an inn. A cover shows the holes where the tap was located. The lids depict a king with a flowing beard. The original paint is still present. One lid shows old worm damage. The good thing is that the headlines reflect each other. Netherlands 17th century. Diameter; 41.5 cm, thickness; 3.2cm
